Team Player Clothing

Team Player Clothing was founded in 2019 by Emmanuel Lim, our CEO and Chief Creative Designer who had the vision in 1998 to create a stylish shirt to wear to work and to sports events. Our TeamWork Shirts are crafted with quality materials and expertly designed with Emmanuel’s vision to have the authentic look and feel of your favorite jersey so you can represent your team at the game with pride. By creating multi-purpose and affordable tailgate attire, our hope is to see fans from all sports wearing our clothing everywhere; to work, sporting events, church, bars, social activities or anywhere they want to feel confident and comfortable with a sporty style.

The year 2020 brought a critical decision in our journey.  We felt it was important to reach more people and give back to communities across the country, not just in our community.  The best way we felt to achieve that goal was to partner with former and current players of all sports by making a Team Player Clothing inspired shirt, designed with their name and number for their fans to support them and their charity in the athletes home town.  We feel that is the best way to reach more fans and charities as we grow TPC.  In 2021, we will sponsor and team with NCAA players of all sports, to support and spread their fandom to all their fans. Our Founder, Emmanuel Lim

Entrepreneur, CEO, Designer. Emmanuel Lim is a diversified entrepreneur, sportswear designer, avid sports fan, charity ambassador, and devoted father.

He is most known for combining his passion for sports with his entrepreneurial pursuits which have brought many businesses to life including the following ventures which he considers to be his exciting life adventures!

His current adventure is as the Founder, CEO, Chief Creative Designer of Team Player Clothing which launched its new product line in 2019 via an entire suite of newly launched sales channels including an eCommerce Store Website TeamPlayerClothing.com, a Facebook Shop @TeamPlayerClothing and other social media channels.

TPC creates shirts blended with sports jerseys designed to be worn at sporting events, work or wherever! In 1998, Emmanuel had the idea to combine a dress shirt or polo with a sports jersey to create one unique but flexible shirt that sports fans like himself would feel comfortable wearing to work, the game & other places to rep’ their favorite teams, fit their lifestyle, and upscale their style, hence Team Player Clothing’s brand expression #ElevateYourTailgate. He had the boldness to do what most great entrepreneurial leaders do, he rolled up his sleeves and got hands on! He purchased a sewing machine and began designing and producing the first prototypes in his home. He is still to this day, quite fond of his first TeamWork Shirts, but has evolved and patented his designs. Today, he still personally designs each TeamWork Shirt and partners with talented individuals to produce them and scale his business to serve his customers.

Continuing to play a role as a part of team, Emmanuel has a history of serving others in many areas for over 20 years including through the hospitality industry and through volunteer work with the V Foundation for Cancer Research and community health service work in Guatemala with the Healer2Healer organization.

Emmanuel Lim grew up playing sports and was the Captain and quarterback/saftey at Renton High School. He went on to play Free Safety at Washington State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hotel Administration from the College of Business & Economics.

Our Brand Ambassador Program

Team Player is proud to announce the Brand Ambassador program that partners with active and retired players to raise money and awareness for their Foundations and specific charities that they support and dedicate their time. Team Player Clothing has committed 100% of net proceeds to be donated to the player’s charity of choice. We are committed to Having Fun, Making Money and Helping Others. These three pillars are the driving force behind everything that Team Player Clothing does.

Having Fun – from going to games in person, or home-gating with friends. Teaming up with our Brand Ambassadors is hard work but it’s also a lot of fun, too.

Making Money – It’s not the only reason we are in business, but it helps drive us to the next player, the next idea and the next-next idea. Making a lot of money isn’t a bad thing when done with a purpose and in turn, used in a positive way. We will use our resources to help these athletes raise money and awareness for their own charity drives.

Helping others – by offering 100% of proceeds to the player’s charity or foundation, our goal is that the player’s charity will be able to reach more people than they would otherwise. For example, instead of hosting 15 students on a field trip, maybe they can host 30 students with our help. Another way we are helping others is by helping collegiate and high school players monetize their names and likeness by selling apparel that has their name and number to their friends, family and fans. We have made on-boarding very simple. And we give them a turn-key apparel line and a page on our website to handle all steps of the sales process. Plus, we will handle all shipping and payments for them. We are truly the original Team Player for all active and former athletes in helping them create an apparel line for their own branding.
